It contains Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix Cocta; it is contraindicated in pregnant women and individuals with an allergic reaction to Yunnan Baiyao, be sure to clean the wound surface before external use.

This product is hard capsule, and the content is powder from grayish yellow to light brownish yellow; it has a special aroma, slightly cool taste and numbness in the tongue. The insurance pills are red spherical or spheroid-like water pill with a brown or tan profile, a slight odor and bitter

Function and Indication: Eliminating blood stasis and hemostatic, promoting blood flow and analgesic, detoxifying and subsiding swelling. It is used for treatment of traumatic injury, stagnated blood swelling and pain, spitting blood, hemoptysis, hemotochezia, hemorrhoidal bleeding, metronhagia and metrostaxia, suppurative and pyogenic infections and soft tissue bruise, closed fracture, brochiectasis and hemoptysis of pulmonary tuberculosis, ulcerative bleeding and infective diseases on skin.

Each capsule content 0.25g.

Administration and Dosage: As to wounds by knife, bullet or traumatic injury, no mater how severe they have been, the capsules are administered capsules with warm boiled water. For initial stage of venenous sore, patient administer a dosage of 0.25g and take another portion of medicine powder to mix homogeneously with wine which is used to apply on infectious part; for suppurative sore, oral administration is needed only. For slight injury and other internal hemorrhage symptom, capsules can be administered orally.

Oral Administration: 1-2 capsules each time,4 times daily (for children: 2 to 5 years old take 1/4 of dosage; 6 to 12 years old take 1/2 of dosage). For severe traumatic injury, a pill of Insurance pill can be administered at first, as to slight injury no Insurance pill will be needed.

Adverse reaction: Monitoring data after marketing showed that the product has the following adverse reactions:

1. Gastro-intestinal system disorders: nausea, vomiting, abdominalgia, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, etc.

Contraindication:

Pharmacological & toxicological effects:

1. Hemostatic effects: Promoting the aggregation of platelet in rat and rabbit significantly, enhancing the activity percentage and expression of surface glycoprotin of platelets, shortening the coagulation time, bleeding time of wounds and prothrombin time in rats and rabbits, demonstrating significantly constriction of artery vessel strip of rabbit.
