Palmitoylethanolamide is a chemical made from fat. It is found naturally in foods such as egg yolks and peanuts, and in the human body. It is also used as a medicine. Palmitoylethanolamide is used for pain, neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis (MS), carpal tunnel syndrome, infections of the airway, and many other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses.
