Mimosa bark (Mimosa tenuiflora) has a rich history of use in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It traditionally has been used to support healthy stress response and a healthy mood.

In TCM, it is so closely aligned with mood support that, in Chinese, it is known as “happiness” bark and flowers.

Mimosa has fernlike leaves, prickly stems, and fluffy pink flowers, but it is the bark that is most often used. (The flowers can also be used.)
